On this beautiful Taurus New Moon day, we get to celebrate the beauty of the season.
Cosmic energies are gifting us with massive abundance if we choose to co-create it.
The Earth in all her glory is inviting us into deeper awareness of the prosperity that is already here. In tribute to this energy, I’ve written this new poem:
Spring, a wet day.
Walking to listen, to feel.
Walking to clear, release, allow.
A drive to that special park on the fjord.
Where seals’ echoes give the Sound its soul.
The language of lush lives here.
Proud sturdy Long Pines,
Magnificent Cedars,
Broad Maples.
All is wet, a sensual contrast of dark and bright.
Bushes with pink and white blooms.
Thickest moss, rich and fuzzy.
So soft and deep to the touch.
It calls me into it.
I submerge, and hear Her.
She speaks strong today.
My Nature Muse, my Goddess.
She shows the way to what matters most.
She knows me and knows what I need to hear…
I keep walking through the long park.
A dog running in play.
Scattered oyster shells along the shoreline.
From deep green grass to rocky shore.
Then black sand meets clusters of talcum white.
Misty skyline across on edges.
Peaks still snowy.
Sun still new and bright.
And I, the light and shadow.
The whole self held here in Her ever-giving beauty.
…
It is such a gift to live here on the Olympic peninsula for a spell. The gifts of this place are deeply soul-nourishing, healing, and expanding on many levels. I look forward to seeing where the adventure takes us.
May your new moon bring bright blessings your way.
Remember to touch the trees with gentle kindness. They are our protectors and guides. If you listen, they will speak to you.
Love, Rachel
