💗.Today I’m sharing a special song with you. I’ve always loved singing. Just for the joy of it. Would you like to sing a special mantra for connecting with the peace of the river with me? Read on to hear and see me sing with the river. Spoiler alert: there’s a short video I made, below!
Here in the northern hemisphere we begin a new solar cycle every year just after the December Solstice. We have been in a 3 day pause, the longest nights of the year. Now the days begin to get longer. The sun returns.
It’s a cozy yuletide in the Olympic Mountains where the water flows freely and the Great Universal Spirit’s voice gently echoes through the clouds, rain, trees, animals, rocks, rivers, and mushrooms of the land.
Yesterday I went to the nearby river, a sacred spot called Big Creek in the Olympic National Forest. It’s a local favorite. I find great solace there and humbly receive the gift of healing peace in this wild land while we get to be here.
To pay tribute to the land and its indigenous heritage I go to the river to sit, commune with the water, and sing. Nature’s truest gift is to restore us to wholeness. Once we learn to receive that, we find out what life is truly about.
Being in nature is how I access receptivity and union with the Divine. Being with nature is to re-discover the celebration of life. By fully dropping into the conscious energy of nature, you remember your true nature. Our true self experiences full interconnectivity; the conscious union and communication with all of life.
Sitting by the river, opening my heart to its energy, opening my voice, I am instantly connected with that awareness of pure Union. Just by humming, I feel myself merging with the natural world around me. Leaning against the trees while breathing with the flowing water, the energy of divine consciousness sings through me, as only nature can.
River’s song transports my mind beyond trivialities. It relieves stress. Loosens stagnation around my heart. Alleviates sadness. Catalyzes simple joy.
Maybe you’d like to try it with me?
Here’s a short video of my River song. Join me in singing:
