With Her Tree
This week I offer you a poetic summation of what I’m integrating from the day-long retreat I had the honor of co-leading yesterday here in the Olympic mountains.
There is a deep strong peacefulness inside me right now. I listen with intent to its wisdom. It was carefully crafted in sacred communion with others who see the need for the real in our lives.
We used no screens or artificial anything, only deep connection with each other, in the flesh, with the land and all its expressions of the Great Universal Spirit.
What conjured this peace?
I offer some reflections.
Long moments shared with individual tree beings, offering questions and whispered secrets opens our sixth and seventh senses. Out here, our awareness opens. A collective understanding arises, shared in the energy between us. Unspoken joy. The true joy that is all encompassing, leaving nothing out. The joy of living. Pure. Spontaneous tears of bliss at this realization.
Witnessing each other praying with trees in the woods and singing at the water’s edge liberates our true selves. Unnecessary layers of ego naturally fall away at the sight of our own wildness together. This brings deep relief.
Our consciousness merged with each other and the trees, roots, branches, sky, water.
Seeing other humans cuddled up with trees, speaking with them, letting them hear us, awakens the eyes to see more beauty. Sparks of recognition ignite in our minds and hearts. As we shed, our inherent light magnifies.
Resonance. Each and all who gathered for this retreat deeply value an intimate and psychic connection with nature’s spiritual essence. It inspires us. We see ourselves as integral in that divine matrix. Being physically present with other nature lovers enriches the power of that energy in our lives.
Creatively expressing together brings forth Soul language, speaking inner dimensions of expanding possibility into existence. This is divine co-creation in collective consciousness, joining in the flow of becoming. Life is the great art of emerging new, born from decay and transmutation. As we open to what is here in each moment, Life’s miraculous unknown gifts can emerge. It is the letting go that allows us to welcome what is coming.
Our day began with a community altar, adorning a living stump with our offerings and blessings. More creations moved into form: our gratitude drawing, spontaneous dancing, sharing of hand made food, a good long walk, sharing stories of our creations, and many songs to the water, to the fire we tended, and to all the parts of ourselves - known and unknown.
Peace is brought to fore by the intentional sharing of our creative human spirit while making prayers together of honoring earth as hallowed ground. Of this I am sure. As we stay in gratitude for it, we continue to receive the gifts this sharing brings.
I pray our lives and lives of all we touch receive this wisdom, this grace. I pray it multiplies the potential of peace existing on the planet so that all beings receive this blessing now.
✌
Peace to All. Love to All. Light to All.
Have a blessed week everyone.
