How’s your plate spinning going?
We are balancing what is clearing out, what is here now, and what is to come.
It all lives here, now, in the mind. Like a video projector, our mental energy plays out in our lived experiences through what we say, think, and do. The idea is to grow more and more conscious of what we are doing with all that mind stuff.
The recent equinox, lunar eclipse and upcoming solar eclipse bring big energy of transformation. Are you seeing opportunities, sometimes challenging, for deep grace for healing your relationships?
If you are, try doing some self-forgiveness work. Give yourself more grace. Slow down the process and let yourself rest into this.
We can be so hard on ourselves. This has certainly been one of my growing edges. I’ve seen big improvement over the last two years in myself. And yet, another turn of the healing spiral shows me what more there is to do.
We are not in the past, and yet we always are. It has shaped us. The stories we tell about our lives may have consistent so-called-facts, but the meaning changes. And our memory lives in the mind space where it gets distorted.
Regrets about the past can keep us stuck in fear and self pity.
I’ve been consciously working to undo this by forgiving myself for the years of unconscious acts, gullibility, self-harm, and self-abandonment.
Punishing ourselves with continued judgement doesn’t make anything better. It turns to shame. And we hide. We become fearful of reaching out. We resent life and close off to the gifts life has for us.
That’s no good because our gifts are needed. We need to express and share ourselves, offer our talents. Others benefit too.
This eclipse season, I am meditating on harmony. I choose to see my life as a wave, an arc of development, a spiral of multidimensional expression. I am playing with balance, like a see-saw, slowly coming to a pause before its next ascension/descension movement.
Balance is flux. It is not a static achievement. It is the dance of an awakening soul. As we naturally evolve in consciousness, the ebbs and flows of the process bring us through phase shifts. Learning to accept this, welcome it, and celebrate it makes life more delightful.
I hope you are resting and celebrating something beautiful this week and always. Even if all the plates you've been spinning currently lie on the ground, they’ll be there to pick back up tomorrow. You get to choose which ones to play with.
Sending Peace to all.
Until next time, Rachel
